Description

Three PC/104+ peripheral interfaces are built into model 340: USB, Ethernet, and CardBus/PCMCIA. All three use the PC/104+ bus. The PC/104 connector is for passing through the ISA bus PCMCIA interrupt signals. The 340 requires a CPU that has a PC/104+ bus. Individual peripheral device(s) can be disabled, so as to free slot(s) and INTx(s) from the PC/104+ bus. Simple Type: BUS-TO-BUS ADAPTERS

PC/104+ to PCI Adapter Description Model 623 allows testing PC/104+ boards using an inexpensive desktop PC. The 623 offers significant time savings during product development and production testing by allowing PC/104+ boards to be hot-swapped within a desktop PC. There is no need for an expensive PC/104+ enclosure and processor to test PC/104+ boards. Simple Type: BUS-TO-BUS ADAPTERS

STD to ISA Bus Adapter The 422 is a bus-to-bus adapter that extends the ISA bus of a PC to a card rack of STD bus I/O boards. It has three parts: an ISA board, and STD board, and a set of flat cables to connect the two boards. The 422 makes the STD board appear as additional ISA boards in a PC. Model 327 and 328 allow operating a PCI board from a PC/104 card stack. They have the unique feature of allowing the selection of important PC/104 signals using jumper plugs. Hence, the PCI board is not forced to use hardwired settings. Simple Type: BUS-TO-BUS ADAPTERS

Analog I/O via Ethernet This member of the 2600 series of smart I/O modules connects to an Ethernet via a 2601 communication module. It reads sixteen analog input voltages, including thermocouples, and has up to eight 15-bit D/A’s. The 2608’s microcontroller provides I/O services to the remote 2601 client via a category-3 cable. The cable supplies isolated serial communication and power to the 2608’s microcontroller. Relay output Simple Type: BUS-TO-BUS ADAPTERS
