AMC-ADIO-Adapter | ESD | ESD AMC-ADIO-Adapter I/O Module - HF ferrites in the signal lines improve the EMC properties of the AMC-ADIO-Adapter. The Mini COMBICON connector is pluggable to allow easy removing of the cable assemblies. Simple Type: I/O Module Eight signal lines plus Ground and Shield are routed via the har-link cable to the Mini COMBICON connector at the AMC-ADIO-Adapter. One Shield clamp is available for two signal lines. This ensures optimum shielding of the cable assembly. When mounted on the rail, the AMC-ADIO-Adapter shield potential automatically connects with the DIN-EN rail via a spring cage contact. If connected to one of the analog input connectors at the AMC-ADIO24, it makes four differential analog I/O signals plus Shield and Ground available. Connected to the analog output connector two analog outputs each as differential and single ended plus Shield are available. If you connect the module to one of the digital I/O connectors, you have eight digital I/O-signals plus Shield and Ground available. 4 SYNC ports plus Shield become available when the module connects to the SYNC-connector. The CAN interfaces are electrically isolated against the controller potential and against each other. CAN status is displayed by two LEDs for each CAN channel placed at the RJ45 connectors. The four independent CAN nets according to ISO 11898-1 are driven by the esd Advanced CAN Core (esdACC) CAN controller implemented in the Xilinx Spartan 3e FPGA.
