The resolution of each D/A converter is 12 bits. The eight output channels on the XVME-530 can be independently jumper configured for either unipolar voltage, bipolar voltage, or current mode of operation. The voltage output ranges include: 0-5 V, 0-10 V, j2.5 V, t5 V, ±10 V, while the current range is 4-20 mA. Each analog output channel on the XVME-530 is optically isolated (300 volts) from the digital logic. The gain and offset errors are both adjustable to zero, and the maximum overall error is 0.5 LSB.
