Xycom Automation XVME-977 I/O Modules - Hard Disk/Floppy Disk Module Simple Type: I/O Module The XVME-977 Hard Drive/Floppy Drive module provides an easy way to integrate both hard and floppy disk drives into a VMEbus system, while occupying only one double-high VMEbus slot. The XVME-977 contains a 2.5" IDE hard drive and a 0.5" high 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy drive. The unit plugs easily into the VMEbus backplane, with the IDE hard drive and floppy drive signals routed through the P2 connector and connected via a short ribbon cable (included). The XVME-977 Hard Drive/Floppy Drive Module is ideally suited for use with XycomVME's XVME-690, XVME-689, XVME-661, XVME-660, XVME-653, XVME-658 and XVME-659 VMEbus PC/AT Processor modules.
