Description
Astek A3803-AMC 8 ports of 3Gbps Serial Attached SCSI in an AMC form factor. Simple Type: AdvancedMC (AMC) Module The Astek A3803-AMC-03 connects up to 8 lanes of PCI Express bandwidth to 4 lanes of 3Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) front panel I/O with an IPASS SFF-8470 connector. Internal AMC port connections provide 2 lanes of AMC.3 SAS/SATA (AMC Ports 2 and 3), and 2 lanes of SAS to Rear I/O (AMC Ports 19 and 20). These adapters bring enterprise class storage solutions to the ATCA and MicroTCA marketplace allowing telecommuncations and embedded computing systems to access up to 122 target disks with a single storage controller.
