Description
STD to ISA Bus Adapter The 422 is a bus-to-bus adapter that extends the ISA bus of a PC to a card rack of STD bus I/O boards. It has three parts: an ISA board, and STD board, and a set of flat cables to connect the two boards. The 422 makes the STD board appear as additional ISA boards in a PC. Analog I/O via Ethernet This member of the 2600 series of smart I/O modules connects to an Ethernet via a 2601 communication module. It reads sixteen analog input voltages, including thermocouples, and has up to eight 15-bit D/A’s. The 2608’s microcontroller provides I/O services to the remote 2601 client via a category-3 cable.
