PRI-ISA24 and PRI-ISA48 boards can be ordered with 2 MB of memory, which provides additional data interface buffer areas. Boards equipped with this option support a greater number of data packets or larger size packets (such as 4500 byte packets used in FDDI networks). This option is available for the PRI-ISA24 and PRI-ISA48 only, and must be requested when the board is ordered.
