Description
Telnet + Dial-Up High Amp -48 VDC Intelligent Remote Reboot Switch (One or Two Terminals); The RPC-4840N provides remote reset capability for high-amp, -48 VDC network equipment. Boot/On/Off commands can be sent to the unit via TCP/IP network, via modem, or from a local PC connected directly to the RPC console port. Many network devices, such as Enterprise routers require up to 35 amps of -48 VDC power; the RPC-4840N supports these high-amp requirements, with capacity to spare. The RPC-4840N features a 10Base-T Ethernet port, a dedicated external modem port, password protection, on-screen circuit labels to identify connected devices, a site ID message, and a user-friendly ASCII command set. System administrators can access the SCM-16 via TCP/IP network, using SSH or Telnet, or out-of-band via modem or local terminal. A single RPS-10 HD Master Module provides 15 amp power control for one AC outlet. When reboot needs expand, additional RPS-10 HD Satellite Modules can be added to allow individual control of up to ten AC outlets.
