Total Control 829 DigiSwitch Series Thumbwheel Switches Simple Type: Thumbwheel Switch Model 829 Digitswitch Assembly is a panel-mounted instrument that provides BCD data for input into a programmable controller or other control devices. Diode isolation allows the switches to be multiplexed (DC models only). The unit is easily installed. Its ample front bezel permits imprecise panel cutouts for easy panel mounting. The rear printed circuit board has all digits and commons brought out to a terminal strip. In addition, all digits are also connected to a ribbon cable socket. Selections include 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 digit assemblies for DC operation. BCD code logic outputs can be 1 true, (a voltage high is sent to the common and the BCD are high {2=0010}) or 0 true logic outputs (a voltage low sent to the common and BCD outputs are low {2=1101}).
