5300 TRANSMODE 5000 Universal Aggregator. The 5300 is a cost-optimised unit specifically developed for ESCON applications. The unit can accept up to four different ESCON data streams. When used in combination with a high data rate aggregator, up to eight ESCON channels can share a wavelength. Simple Type: UNIVERSAL AGGREGATOR Request Quote
5400 TRANSMODE 5000 Universal Aggregator. 5400 is available in two different versions, 5400/01 and 5400/02. 5400/01 takes two different data streams using Gigabit Ethernet or the output signal from the 5300/5500 as its input. 5400/02 takes two data streams using Fibre Channel or FICON as input. The two input signals are aggregated to an outgoing 2.5 Gbps line signal. Simple Type: UNIVERSAL AGGREGATOR Request Quote
5500 TRANSMODE 5000 Universal Aggregator. The 5500 is a more general low data rate aggregator in the UA family. The unit is intended for aggregation of multiple protocols with bit rates up to 200 Mbps. Currently, the 5500 supports ESCON, Fast Ethernet, STM-1/OC-3, FDDI and ETR/CLO. The unit employs the same 1.25 Gbps line rate as its 5300 relative. Simple Type: UNIVERSAL AGGREGATOR Request Quote
5600 TRANSMODE 5000 Universal Aggregator. The 5600 uses the Generic Framing Procedure (GFP) standard allowing interoperability with existing SDH/SONET networks. The client signals are mapped into GFP according to ITU-T G.7041, Generic Framing Procedure (GFP). The GFP frames are transported over SDH/SONET through virtual concatenation, VCAT, according to ITU-T G.707. This is the most effective way to transport Gigabit Ethernet signals through an existing SDH/SONET network. 5600 takes as input the line signal from the 5300 or 5500, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel or FICON. The output from the 5600 is a regular STM-16/OC-48 signal. Simple Type: UNIVERSAL AGGREGATOR Request Quote
