Hilscher NT 100-DN-CO System - Gateway DeviceNet / CANopen Simple Type: Connector Communication technology in factory automation is currently going through a change of technology from the established field bus technology to Real-Time Ethernet-based systems. In the extension of field bus installations or integration of devices that do not yet possess Ethernet interfaces there are system transfers that need to be linked. For this purpose there are Gateways that possess interfaces to both systems and can exchange data over them. Alone the most important field bus systems, CC-Link, CANopen, DeviceNet and PROFIBUS and Real-Time Ethernet systems such as EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, POWERLINK, PROFINET and SERCOS III result in ten systems.
