Description
Gateway GW2355 CPU Board - ROUTER BOARD, 5 LAN / 4 Mini-PCI. A low cost, low power Intel XScale IXP425/533MHz processor, 64MB DRAM, 16MB Flash for customer premises network applications. Operating Tem; -40 to 85 Deg., Operating Voltage; 9-48 VDC. Size 4” x 6”. Simple Type: CPU Board The GW2355 is a member of the Gateworks Avila Network Processor family. The GW2355 meets the requirements for broadband gateway applications. This network processor consists of an Intel IXP425 XScale operating at 533MHz, 64Mbytes of SDRAM, and 16Mbytes of Flash. Peripherals include four Type III Mini-PCI sockets, a 10/100 WAN, and a 4-port 10/100 LAN switch. All Ethernet channels have IEC-6100-4 ESD and EFT protection. Additional features include serial EEPROM, real time clock with battery backup, system monitor to track operating temperature and input voltage, front panel pushbutton reset an d status led, and watchdog timer. An RS-232 serial port is available through the JTAG programming connector using a Gateworks GW16027 JTAG Serial Port Adapter. The GW2355 also supports Compact Flash and GPS as ordering options. Power is applied through any Ethernet connector with the unus ed signal pairs in a Passive Power over Ethernet architecture. A board support package is in cluded for Linux 2.6 operating systems. Gateworks GW2358-4 Dev Kit Simple Type: Accessory The GW11016 development kits include the items needed to develop applications with the Gateworks Cambria Network Processors. The hardware includes a GW2358-4, Passive PoE supply for powering the network processor, JTAG-USB Programmer for downloading software from a standard Linux or Windows PC to the network processor, and assorted cables for interfacing to various peripherals. The software includes a CDROM with the latest Gateworks Board Support Package based on Linux v2.6 and Redboot v2.04. A second CDROM includes the JTAG-USB Programmer software for both Linux and Windows development platforms. The JTAG-USB Programmer simultaneously allows serial console access over the same JTAG interface.

The GW2358-4 meets the requirements for enterprise and residential network applications. This network processor consists of an Intel IXP435 XScale operating at 667MHz, 128Mbytes of DDRII-400 SDRAM, and 32Mbytes of Flash. Peripherals include four Type III Mini-PCI sockets, two 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet ports, two USB Host ports, and Compact Flash socket. Additional features include digital I/O, serial EEPROM, real time clock with battery backup, system monitor to track operating temperature and input voltage, RS232 serial port for management and debug, and watchdog timer.
