Excalibur Systems EXC-1553ccVME/Px CPU Board - Multi Function MIL-STD-1553 interface for VME compatible systems B-size board Simple Type: CPU Board The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxis a multi-channel (up to 16) intelligent, MIL-STD-1553 interface board for ccVME systems. The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxprovides a complete solution for developing and testing 1553 interfaces and performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 bus. The board handles all standard variations of the MIL-STD-1553 protocol. Each channel of the EXC-1553ccVME/Pxcontains 64K bytes of true dual-port RAMfor Data Blocks, Control registers, and Look-up Tables. All Data Blocks and Control registers are memory mapped, and may be accessed in real time.Each of the independent dual redundant EXC-1553ccVME/Px channels may be programmed to operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal (up to 32 RTs), Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT, and Bus Monitor. Each channel also provides a Concurrent Monitor in RT and BC modes, and on-board loopback capability (Bus A to Bus B) for a complete built-in test.The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxcomes complete with Windows software for NI-VISA systems, a C-driver software library including source code for Windows and VxWorks, and has an extended temperature range of -40° to +85°C. (RT Validated-Single Function) Simple Type: CPU Board The M4K1553Px is an intelligent, MIL-STD-1553 interface module for the multiprotocol Excalibur 4000 family of carrier boards. The M4K1553Px provides a complete solution for developing and testing 1553 interfaces and performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 bus. The module handles all standard variations of the MIL-STD-1553 protocol. Each module of the M4K1553Px contains 64K bytes of dual-port RAM for Data Blocks, Control registers, and Look-up Tables. All Data Blocks and Control registers are memory mapped, and may be accessed in real-time. The M4K1553Px module can be programmed to operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal, Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT, and Bus Monitor. Excalibur Systems EXC-1394PCIe-x CPU Board - IEEE 1394B interface for PCI Express compatible systems Simple Type: CPU Board The EXC-1394PCIe is an intelligent, multichannel avionics communication board for interfacing to an AS5643 or an IEEE-1394 data bus. It implements a 1394b PHY layer and can operate at 100, 200 or 400 Mbps. It provides up to three fully independent nodes, each node having three full-duplex ports associated with it, and has a universal PCI Express interface that is compatible with any PCI Express slot. The EXC-1394PCIe supports Direct Memory Access (DMA), which enables the board to access system memory for reading and writing independently of the computer’s CPU. This results in faster data transfer to and from the board, with much less CPU overhead than when not using DMA. Download the datasheet (PDF)
