Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing System MultiWave Sentry® 1600 Transmission System is a dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical transport system that delivers throughput up to 40 Gb/s on a single fiber. This system allows carriers to mix SONET/SDH, ATM, Fast IP, and asynchronous traffic on a common optical network.
