AAEON GENE-9655 CPU Board. 3.5" SubCompact Board With Intel Core 2 Duo/ Celeron M (65nm) Processors with Intel 82574L for 10/100/1000Mbps, Type II CompactFlash, 4 COM, 6 USB2.0, Digital I/O, Mini PCI/ Mini Card Simple Type: CPU Board The GENE-9655 adopts the Intel GME965 + ICH8M chipset and has the Socket-P that can accept an Intel Core 2 Duo/ Celeron M (65nm) processor, such as the 2.2GHz T7500. The board can also be ordered with the option to have an Intel BGA processor embedded on it in place of the processor socket. The GENE-9655 supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 533/667 memory in its one 200-pin SODIMM socket. For high-speed network communications, the GENE-9655 features the Intel 82574L and Intel 82566MM chipsets which support two Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide fast data transmission. Another key feature of the GENE-9655 is the multiple I/O interfaces, such as six USB 2.0 ports, three RS-232 ports, one switchable RS-232/422/485 port, one PS/2 Keyboard, one PS/2 Mouse and an 8-bit programmable Digital I/O interface. Furthermore, the storage and operating system implementation of the GENE-9655 can take advantage of the one SATA II connector and one Type II CompactFlash socket. "The GENE-9655 has expansion options in the form of a Mini-PCI interface and a Mini Card (Mini-PCI-Express) interface that can support 3G modules as well as a large number of commercially-available devices to satisfy customers' versatile requirements. In addition, the GENE-9655 equips optional onboard Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to provide high-level security capability for applications that demand locked down systems," said Mac Lin, Product Manager of AAEON's Embedded Computing Division. "In addition, this model supports CRT/LCD, DVI/LCD simultaneous and dual view displays for video and multimedia applications. The display device is integrated into the Intel GME965 and shares system memory, up to 384 MB with DVMT 4.0 support. The CRT resolution is up to 1920x1440 and LCD and DVI resolution can go up to 1920 x 1200. The LCD interface of GENE-9655 can support up to 24-bit dual-channel LVDS.
